Research by the The Economist Intelligence Unit (@TheEIU) found that ~67% of executives globally reported that information and knowledge were being shared more quickly and freely in their companies due to the use of data. Despite firms still struggling with large quantities of data, data is improving businesses across an array of operational and strategic functions (e.g. increasing efficiency, making more informed decisions, increasing business revenues, modifying business processes, entering new markets, driving marketing automation, predicting customer lifetime value, etc.). @MillwardBrown and Kentico Software found that big data was the third highest priority for US digital marketers in 2015. - Link
