@Unilever’s Dove’s latest experiment in its Campaign for Real Beauty gave women in San Francisco, Delhi, Shanghai, London, and Sao Paulo a choice to walk through doors labeled “beautiful” or “average.” Most of the women chose “average.” According to Dove’s research, 80% of women globally believe that every woman has something beautiful about her, but only 4% of women chose “beautiful” to describe themselves. Dove said the point of the experiment was to prove that “feeling beautiful is one of those choices that women should feel empowered to make for themselves every day.” - Link
