BI Intelligence forecast that US native ad spending would increase by 35.4% in 2015 to $10.7B and $21B by 2018. A study by @ANAmarketers found that 66% of US client-side marketers will increase their native ad budgets, an increase over the 55% who did in 2014. This increase in native advertising makes standing out increasingly competitive. Furthermore, this study found that the most important select native advertising component, according to US client-side marketers, is that the native ad is contextually relevant to the surrounding editorial content (63% said very important).- Link
