For brand strategy, @hugeinc says there are a couple of things that marketers and CMOs should be thinking about:

  • 1. Consider brand structure

  • 2. Ask themselves what they can enable

    • E.g. “‘How can I utilize digital to deliver a capability that fits my brand and meets the needs of the user?’”

  • 3. Integration

    • Recognize that the user is going through a journey

    • Think about marketing strategy from a digital, social, and universal perspective

  • 4. Harness data correctly

  • Always make sure that all efforts are connected back to the brand
