Mondo, a technology and digital marketing resourcing provider, expects half of all marketing hires to have a technical background by 2016. Mondo also found that 54% of the marketers they surveyed said digital/social marketers would be the highest in demand within the next 12-18 months, followed by content creation (44%), big data/analytics (33%), mobile strategy (30%), and search engine optimization (SEO) (28%). There is an increasing reliance on digital dexterity as 80% of marketing departments plan to increase their digital marketing budgets within the next 12-18 months.- Link
