A study, commissioned by MSL Group of Millennials across 17 countries, found that Millennials have “big expectations for big businesses.” Millennials, a generation that is thought to be distrustful of major institutions, actually view the corporate world as the solution for a better future. The study found:

  • “78% of Millennials recommend a company to their peers based on the company’s involvement with society”

  • “83% expect business to do more than they are already doing to help the world”

  • 82% believe that  “businesses can make the greatest impact in addressing societal issues”

  • 69% want businesses to make it easier for people to help them make the world a better place
