This year’s Black Friday online sales broke new records - for the first time mobile traffic outpaced PC traffic. @IBM analyzed customer transaction data and found that on Thanksgiving Day mobile (smartphone & tablet) browsing accounted for 52.1% of all online traffic and online sales increased 14.3% over last year. Mobile sales accounted for 27.9% of online sales this Black Friday, a 28.2% increase over last year. @PayPal had a 43% global increase in PayPal mobile on Thanksgiving. However, when consumers chose to use PC they spent an average of 16.6% more than mobile shoppers. - Link
