According to a survey by The Retail Feedback Group, coupons delivered via print are still a popular go-to when it comes to groceries.

  • 50% read printed circulars at home

  • 32% clipped paper coupons

  • 25% used printed circulars at store

  • 21% used digital circulars

  • 19% downloaded digital circulars

  • 17% used in-store-only promotions

  • 13% loyalty program

  • 5% smartphone research

  • 4% promotions on social media

However, print may be in the lead now because of its wide lead in distribution. NCH Marketing Services found that 90% of coupons for CPGs were obtainable via freestanding inserts, while only 2% were digitally available. - Link
