After 6 months of testing, @instagram (owned by @facebook) began rolling out its first video ads. These video ads are 15-second autoplay spots that can be targeted to reach people by age, gender and country. Its first ads will be from @Disney, @Activision, @LancomeUSA, @BananaRepublic, and the @CW_network, who wanted to have the first instagram video ads to bolster their brands’ reputations as innovators.
